Children should get an eye exam at ages 1, 3, before kindergarten, and every 2 years until 18 years old. It is recommended that adults 18+ get an eye exam every year.

Can I drive with dilation?

You are able to drive after dilation. Sunglasses are recommended as you will be light sensitive. We will give you a temporary pair if you don't have your own!

I have an eye emergency. Should I call T.Spex?

Our doctors are specialized in treating emergent ocular issues. Often times emergency rooms and urgent cares are unable to properly assess eye emergencies since they do not have a slit lamp or other ocular diagnostic tools. Whether it is a red eye, new floaters, a scratch, or eye pain - give us a call and we will try to fit you in ASAP!
